Congratulations to our team member Daniela Jaramillo-Dent, who has been awarded an Ambizione Grant by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) for her research project “Influencers as Visual and Platform-Based Authorities: How Epistemic Authority Is Claimed, Portrayed, and Perceived on Digital Platforms.”

The grant will enable Daniela to investigate over the next four years how financial, diasporic, and science influencers acquire, maintain, and exercise epistemic authority through visual and platformed means, in collaboration with colleagues at the Department of Communication and Media Research (IKMZ) at the University of Zurich.
